Amendment 1: Proposed 3rd Homestead Exemption

The November 6, 2018 election ballot will contain a proposal to amend Floridafs Constitution to provide for a 3rd Homestead Exemption of up to $25,000 in value. If passed, this new exemption will apply only to homesteaded properties with an Assessed Value greater than $100,000 and would be effective on the 2019 tax roll. The estimator uses 2017 values therefore it is only an estimate.
